The Galactic Center is somewhere far far far out in the space - from Earth seen at the direction of about 27 degrees in the sign of Sagittarius. When watching that point from our perspective, in turn each of our huge planets passes this point of the Galactic Center, one by one, sometimes even two or more together ("in conjunct"), and the energy of these passings is experienced by us tiny humans down here on this tiny Earth. Today the Sun passes over the Galactic Center. [... on a sidenote, this year this happens remarkably simultaneously while little Venus elsewhere enters the sign of Aquarius - the first planet to step in the age of the Aquarius. All other planets will soon follow her, and make it official. (The bravest of all first, so it seems it's the Ladies first again, as usual ...) After today's conjunction with the Galactic Center, as every year, the Sun steadily moves on on the 360-degree zodiac wheel, one degree a day, as always, and enters the next sign on the wheel, the sign of Capricorn. (Each sign has 30 degrees, so 12 signs x 30 degrees is 360 degrees wheel. Finally there's use for Maths ! ) This astrological Sun's crossing the border from Sag to Cap happens every year in December (on 20-22 Dec), and we call that time the winter solstice, or the December solstice. But the name is a bit confusing, because for long peoples of the globe are dazzled and kept in separate bubbles with various languages and calendar systems around the world, and in the southern hemisphere it is the hottest summer ever at the moment, not winter at all, so that's why I have suggested we could all call this day The Second Sacred Solstice - The Secsacsol. I suggest, that The Secsacsol is the concept of honouring the whole day and the importance of this phenomenon, the winter solstice as a moment. That astronomical moment, that exact minute of solstice marks the sun’s southernmost point in our sky for that year - when the sun on our sky’s dome reaches its farthest southward point for the year. [I have not yet invented a name for the summer solstice, but I am continuously working on it. To my opinion, there's no hurry with that one because the Scandinavians, especially the Finns are already making such a number out of that whole day. Thusfar the project name of the naming project is firsacsol - yes, you guessed it, the first sacred solstice of the year. Read all about my fashionable 2017 firsacsol -clothing here.] This year The Secsacsol, the winter solstice, will launch a special portal for us to rest for the next few days. We already started a slow slide into the epic 2020 century in August when the Lionsgate portal opened. Now it is time to rest and receive. This has been no joke, many of us can testify. Make time for rest because eclipse season is now in effect, says Molly McCord. | On Sunday morning 2019-12-22 at 06:19 in Finland (December 22 at 4:19 UTC) will be the moment of this magnificent portal opening - The Secsacsol 2019. On Thursday morning 2019-12-26 at 07:13 in Finland (December 26 at 5:13 UTC) the Moon will catch up the Sun at 4 degrees in Capricorn (4 days later Sun has moved 4 degrees further), and Moon will be conjunct the Sun ("new moon"), but this December this regular monthly conjunction is an annular solar eclipse, (a “ring of fire” eclipse) - in conjunction with Jupiter at 5 degrees of Capricorn ! This marks the official beginning of the eclipse season, and the final slide to the next decade.
