[ photos coming up ... ] [ major challenges trying to get true colors in photos ... ]
From my studio ( 2010 - 2015 ) from February 2014. Four paintings on 60 x 60 cm fiberboard from the series Stugani Skugani are almost finished : On top February finished, january needs more snow white, smoky gloomy October finished (painted as first of the series and with oil) and August almost there if not ready yet I think.
Hanging on the wall are stored acrylic paintings on thin plastic film from the series Pink Planktons Plastic Bits - in front Baltic Mermaid, decaying, 180 x 120 cm and underneath Kinky Pink Plastic Bits, 178 x 178 cm.
All paintings in Stugani Skugani are hanged by a strong twine glued on the backside, no need for framing.
My original idea was to finish painting these works in a few years since starting them in 2010, and then maybe put the whole series on display at some later point without any pressure or hurry or timetables ... or maybe just withhold the works for some special occasion in the blurry future where I'd think they'd fit best. Well ... it seems I can live up to my plans, even to the most specific and detailed ones like this one. A clear sign of a true warrior spirit.
