This is love. It really works. It really really works ! photo © 2017 Tiina Hölli First touch ! Test installation of 4-Blade Heat Powered SF-910B4 is completed. " I just put it there and it started to function ! " Note : Tomato soup [ one of my special dishes, read more in Recipes | for all possible ] in the above photo was removed from in front of SF-910B4 right after this photograph of the first touch was taken. The idea is to keep the space clear in front of the fan. Notice also that the hatches of the stove are kept open when heating the room, and remember to check the corresponding position of the heating / cooking switch. And remember always to keep a full water kettel on the stove to protect the metal cover plate from the excess heat. photo © 2017 Tiina Hölli 4-Blade Heat Powered SF-910B4 running on Högfors SiRO Nro 51 I have now 4 days of user experience of SF-910B4, and I can say that it is so very seldom that I find anything this much simple and useful and easy to use. I just put it there and it started to function ! So so far UX = 10 - Adding the minus on the fifth user experience day - I noticed this uncomfortable flaw right away, though, but I forgot it because of the great effect on the heat circulating side. The minus comes from the very high frequency sound, which of course alters according to the speed of the blades, and possibly also affected if the stove's surface is even slightly bent. I wonder if I were younger - let's say still in the crickets-hearing age, how much would that bother me then ? It is already being disturbing if there is no other noise. I bet it could turn out to be unbearable ? I will study it by moving the gadget around, but so far - still - the heat circulation is marvelous ! photo © 2017 Tiina Hölli The heating module and cooking area of my kitchen. Notice the clever design of the wood carry - ex made it by turning a table upside down and adding wheels - genius ! My ingenious idea is to put an old freezer grate on top of the stove for empty pans. Some specs about this uttermost advanced Black Matter Absolut Black Wonderful - P e r f e c t - simple ingenious Technology : " It generates its own electricity from the heat of the stove, no batteries or wiring required. Started and speed-regulated by the temperature of the stove. Circulates the heat evenly throughout the room. Saves on heating costs. " So it even spins at full speed after the fire is down for as long as the oven is somewhat hot, and fan keeps still circulating the warm air. Without the fan feet start feeling the chilly draft immediately when the wood has burned and the heat starts moving upwards to the ceiling, but now I can push the chimney flue damper in a little, and at least for a half an hour it still spins at full speed and works efficiently, and even after that for another half an hour. Marvelous ! On sixth UX day I had an additional genius idea (yes am full of brilliant ideas there's obviously no end to this sometimes I amaze even myself) : what if I could connect my mobile phone battery charger to a heat powered fan - if it sideproduces free DC well why not ? Seriously, somebody should work on this ... In April 2017 after thinking about this already in the beginning ... whether to mention this or not ... well yes, yes I'd suggest a safety-net-structure of some sort around the blades, to protect the gadget itself and the pots and all. I wonder if the fact that it has none, is illicit ? In December 2018 adding, that at some point there was a learning process of how to adjust the house ventilation (natural air pressure, meaning an open hole up to the roof in the kitchen wall), because when the chimney draft ended as the fire went down, the thin smell of smoke started to get pulled back inside. This was solved by closing the ventilation just at the end of the burn. In Finnish this gadget (with several other different models with different number of blades) is called Kamiinapuhallin (Kamiinatuuletin) and sold at Clas Ohlson, whose own model it apparently is, if I understood correctly. My warmest recommendations to purchase this wonderful gadget ! P.S. : Others like it too ... : ) | 4-Blade Heat Powered SF-910B4 | written & published in - i like - Collection - © 2017 Tiina Hölli 2017-02-20 22:40 published in beBee - i like - Collection 2017-03-17 20:45 [ new technology ux ] |
